It was an amazing experience! I started my diving journey with Kiwidiver, under the guidance of Charles, who is a really great instructor. I felt calm and pretty confident under water as we trained how to manage possible stressful situations. I received knowledge of equipment, underwater behavior, navigation and so many other important things…There was always something interesting and new to learn from Charles about underwater life and diving. True professional with passion. So huge + for the instructor! Organization of open water dives was excellent. Pick up on time. All equipment needed was provided. Even nice food and drinks all time on boat! Diving sights - super cool. Sunken ship, bright coral reefs, diversity of sea animals of different shapes and colors. November 19, 2023Charles is such a cool guy, very detailed, and tells you the why of things and real life scenarios when teaching the techniques, safety skills, and equipment usage. When in open water, he guides you through everything and makes you feel safe even if you never dove before, swimming between corals, showing you really cool marine life, and taking pictures of you! I highly recommend taking the Open Water Course with him, and I can't wait to be back in Thailand to dive more and maybe doing the Advanced Course with the most experienced instructor in Phuket!

November 19, 2023Sally and I did a 3 day dive with Charles (9 dives all together) on Jan 2023. We dove 1:2 with Charles for two full days. On the third day anther diver joined us, but it still felt quite personal. Charles is very knowledgable (over 8000 dives!). He guided us well above and underwater, and offered invaluable technical advice on equalization, buoyancy, leg work and kicking, etc. On our first day he suggested that I use larger air-tanks, and provided me with 15 lbs tanks for days 2 & 3, which extend our dives to 50min+. The boat we used (SiroloDive) was well equipped, had great staff, and served great meals We were told by other divers that it is considered the best boat around. Charles is also a wonderful underwater photographers. The photos he sent us after the dive are wonderful momentos from our 3 fun underwater days in Phuket.
