June 19, 2024Myself and my partner dived for 9 days with Charles and Kiwidivers in the incredible Andaman sea. Charles was a fantastic instructor and guide; he is competent and friendly, we always felt safe and he knew each dive site really well, sometimes taking us to areas where no other divers seemed to be visiting. We saw amazing wildlife while we were diving, and Charles also gave us time at each site to collect footage we wanted for a project. Both of us are certified divers but still felt like we improved massively during the course of the trip. We also completed the drift diver specialty with Kiwidivers, which was completed and signed off quickly. The dive sites themselves are special, and Charles ensured you get a variety if you go to the same island multiple times. Kiwidivers were extremely helpful with other travel tips, transport to the boat, and support when our gear broke/not appropriate for what we wanted to do. Could not recommend Kiwidivers enough, we had an amazing trip and will be coming back.

I booked a day trip with Kiwidiver in Jan 2018 and had an awesome day. Other than the main street dive centres, Kiwidiver uses higher end equipment, as they are specialised in Technical diving. So for all courses and day trips they use Frog BCDs and APEKS regulators, which are owned by and serviced at the dive shop (and not rented). I booked 3 fun dives at Racha Noi and Racha Yai. Meeting point is the Kiwidiver shop, where you'll be fitted in your scuba gear and from there transferred to the peer, which is a mere 5min drive from the dive center. The dive boat was large and did not feel crowded. There is breakfast, lunch, snacks, water, tea and coffee provided. Dive time is 50min at each site, so make sure you've set up your equipment and are ready to jump. Your instructor will tell you the boat time before starting the briefing. Between dives you can stretch out on the sun decks and enjoy the cruise. Don't forget to take your own towel, sun lotion, sun glasses and maybe a book if you're travelling solo. Also some cash, so you can leave a tip for the boat crew!

November 19, 2018I did the advanced Padi course in Kiwidivers and was absolutely a really good experience, I really enjoyed my dives with them and also the boat that they booked for the divings was great with all kind of comfort. Charles the instructor is also a really good and professional person and took a lot of incredible pictures in all the dives. Really recommended place

November 19, 2017Sally and I did a 3 day dive with Charles (9 dives all together) on Jan 2023. We dove 1:2 with Charles for two full days. On the third day anther diver joined us, but it still felt quite personal. Charles is very knowledgable (over 8000 dives!). He guided us well above and underwater, and offered invaluable technical advice on equalization, buoyancy, leg work and kicking, etc. On our first day he suggested that I use larger air-tanks, and provided me with 15 lbs tanks for days 2 & 3, which extend our dives to 50min+. The boat we used (SiroloDive) was well equipped, had great staff, and served great meals We were told by other divers that it is considered the best boat around. Charles is also a wonderful underwater photographers. The photos he sent us after the dive are wonderful momentos from our 3 fun underwater days in Phuket.
