Sally and I did a 3 day dive with Charles (9 dives all together) on Jan 2023. We dove 1:2 with Charles for two full days. On the third day anther diver joined us, but it still felt quite personal. Charles is very knowledgable (over 8000 dives!). He guided us well above and underwater, and offered invaluable technical advice on equalization, buoyancy, leg work and kicking, etc. On our first day he suggested that I use larger air-tanks, and provided me with 15 lbs tanks for days 2 & 3, which extend our dives to 50min+. The boat we used (SiroloDive) was well equipped, had great staff, and served great meals We were told by other divers that it is considered the best boat around. Charles is also a wonderful underwater photographers. The photos he sent us after the dive are wonderful momentos from our 3 fun underwater days in Phuket.

Got scuba certified the last few days with Charles and it was amazing!! I felt very safe the whole time and didn’t feel rushed on anything, felt I could take my time doing certain skills underwater. The dive boat we went on was awesome, got treated with the Phi Phi islands. Boat also provided excellent food. 12/10 experience, highly recommend KiwiDivers to anyone interested in diving or more advanced divers!!

My sister and I took the open water course at Kiwidiver. The staff are wonderful! They are extremely friendly and have extensive knowledge on diving. Our instructor, Darren, has a passion for diving that he was excited to share with us. He was patient and calm which was helpful with our learning and first dives. He clearly explained the learning objectives and expectations. He has a lot of background knowledge on diving that added to the open water course. The owner, Kevin, was in and out of the shop and checked in with us frequently. He was very hands on and always willing to answer questions and make recommendations. If I’m ever back in Phuket I will return to Kiwidiver for another course!

I have done over 12 PADI certificates with Kiwidiver, Kevin and his staff are number one. These guys don't hand out certifications just because you paid for the course. They make sure you are competent in the skills that they teach you. Your safety is paramount. I have had to redo some parts of the course, and now I am greatfull. Highly recommended

Charles was the best diving teacher and instructor one can wish for. I started my Open Water course really scared and unsure if diving was for me. But Charles was incredibly patient with me, answering all my questions in detail and made me feel safe and confident to try my first ever dive. His calmness and patience helped me stay relaxed. He knows the area really well and what species to look out for at each dive site. He knows how to get away from other divers, finding our own routes which is why we got lucky to see sharks, leopard sharks, cuttle fish, sea horses and turtles. But each dive was special as Charles finds and points out even the smallest shrimp in their holes. I had such a great time I booked another dive the week after finishing my course.

I'd highly recommend Kiwidivers if you're scubadiving around Thailand. Charles was my instructor and was very informative and helpful on getting me through the advanced open water course. He gave me plenty if tips on improving my underwater photography skills too. The kit is all decent for the great conditions in that part of the world. The boats taking us to and from each location catered to our needs with amazing food and plenty of portions, the staff were really friendly and helpful with the kit. The diving itself is phenomenal as we saw up to 20 m visibility in some top locations to spot various sea life from clown fish to sting rays. The water being around 20 degrees Celsius made for comfortable swimming.
