November 19, 2017It was an amazing experience! I started my diving journey with Kiwidiver, under the guidance of Charles, who is a really great instructor. I felt calm and pretty confident under water as we trained how to manage possible stressful situations. I received knowledge of equipment, underwater behavior, navigation and so many other important things…There was always something interesting and new to learn from Charles about underwater life and diving. True professional with passion. So huge + for the instructor! Organization of open water dives was excellent. Pick up on time. All equipment needed was provided. Even nice food and drinks all time on boat! Diving sights - super cool. Sunken ship, bright coral reefs, diversity of sea animals of different shapes and colors. I am very thankful that I have chosen this company to learn diving! Highly recommend Kiwidiver 100%!

I felt very safe the whole time and didn’t feel rushed on anything, felt I could take my time doing certain skills underwater. The dive boat we went on was awesome, got treated with the Phi Phi islands. Boat also provided excellent food. 12/10 experience, highly recommend KiwiDivers to anyone interested in diving or more advanced divers!!

From the moment my Wife and I contacted Charles at Kiwi divers to arrange 5 days with 15 dives we knew we were in safe hands. Both of us are experienced divers and know what bad looks like. We certainly were happy we found a safe, responsible and knowledgeable outfit. Charles met us at our hotel in the evening and took us to hire kit and sign up. Kit was well serviced and clean. The next morning transport to the comfortable and spacious dive boat took us effortlessly there and back. Once on the boat the operator was clear with instructions and safety was paramount. Breakfast , snacks and lunch onboard was better than some restaurants. Each dive was different with reefs, wrecks and wall dives. Diving is always subject to nature and unpredictable at times however Charles managed to tick all the must see for wildlife inc Reef sharks, Eagle Ray, Bamboo Shark and even pulled out a Leopard Shark from somewhere. The dive pace was suited to us with limits set and appropriate for experienced divers. Space and time was given to us during the dive and never put a fin wrong with guiding. During the surface intervals Charles always spent time with us discussing dive plans and adapting where needed. Charles was keen to answer any questions we had about Thailand, diving and equipment. My wife was interested in starting underwater photography and Charles was professional in taking time to explain equipment and requirements. Pricing for the diving and boat experience was exceptional value for money compared with live aboard prices with the benefit of an island experience. Thank you Charles and Kiwi divers. We have already recommended you and will return.

November 19, 2023My brother and I arrived in Phuket and decided on short notice to take an Open Water Course. All dive shops turned us down for short notice, however, Charles at Kiwi Diver made it happen! As we learned to dive, Charles was meticulous with the training, yet he made diving fun and not too technical! As I honed my skills, I became more confident and explored divergent dive sites. If you're in Phuket and thinking about taking a dive, Kiwi Diver is your place. The prices might be a little higher than other dive shops, but the divemaster here has over 9,000 dives under his belt, which translates to a fantastic learning experience.
