Charles is extreamly experienced and professional. November 19, 2023Sally and I did a 3 day dive with Charles (9 dives all together) on Jan 2023. We dove 1:2 with Charles for two full days. On the third day anther diver joined us, but it still felt quite personal. Charles is very knowledgable (over 8000 dives!). He guided us well above and underwater, and offered invaluable technical advice on equalization, buoyancy, leg work and kicking, etc. On our first day he suggested that I use larger air-tanks, and provided me with 15 lbs tanks for days 2 & 3, which extend our dives to 50min+. The boat we used (SiroloDive) was well equipped, had great staff, and served great meals We were told by other divers that it is considered the best boat around. Charles is also a wonderful underwater photographers. The photos he sent us after the dive are wonderful momentos from our 3 fun underwater days in Phuket.

November 19, 2020I have done over 12 PADI certificates with Kiwidiver, Kevin and his staff are number one. These guys don't hand out certifications just because you paid for the course. They make sure you are competent in the skills that they teach you. Your safety is paramount. I have had to redo some parts of the course, and now I am greatfull. Highly recommended

Had a great time with Kiwi Divers!! Summary of my trip with the wife: 1) Charles (boss) know his way around the community, and he got us his favorite big boat, really nice big boat with all the facilities for diving 2) definitely an experience dive master with knowledge of the area, he knows where all the fishes, and we saw the leopard shark ( big one) at shark point dive site 3) gears were good in good condition, pick up was also arrange for us All in all, a very lovely trip, had a great time with the wife. Note to self, bring more cash, many places does not accept card or eWallet Also, the diving community definitely needs support after the Covid era, please do come and support Regards, Matthew

November 19, 2023Super chuffed to now be SSI open water certified! Thanks Charles. Charles is very experienced, very knowledgeable of the dive sites across Phuket , an ex serviceman from the UK he has dived all over the world and been an instructor since 2000. With tips about where to go in middle America and California, he even found a missing WW2 plane in Loch Ness and offered closure to the families of the fatal accident decades after the fact. Very generous with his knowledge, and I was lucky enough to have him as my personal instructor when others wouldn’t have bothered with only one student. It’s the off season in phuket so many other instructors would wait until they could book multiple students on their dives. Now SSI open water certified, very confident, and having swum with leopard sharks, turtles, lion fish, and sighted many fish and corals I need to avoid to stay safe , I gotta say I can’t fault the training, detail, and knowledge I have is all down to the thorough and fun training of one very clever and talented Scottish fella. Completely unsteriotypically generous. (Sorry Charles had to remind you of the stingy Jock joke). Oh and special thanks to the boat crew , great food, friendly assistants, and awesome dive sites.
