I made with him open and advanced diving courses, 2 times beach diving and one more day for fun diving from the boat. During lessons Charles speak only about important things. He have more than 8000 divings experience. I recommend.

November 19, 2022My friend and I decided to take diving lessons during our holiday in Thailand last week and we had the most amazing time doing a PADI Open Water course. Our instructor was great and took care of us the whole time, making us feel comfortable with all the equipment, helping us get in and out of the water and being very patient while we did all the exercises. For the course we went to practice in the pool and at the beach and on the third day we went to Racha Noi island with the dive boat. You should know that all the beginner courses are done at the dive spots of the Racha Noi and Racha Yai islands because the conditions are easy and there is no current in the bays. There are nice and shallow spots with good visibility, which really lets you get comfortable being underwater. We really wanted to see the Phi Phi islands, but since they are a protected marine park, beginners are not allowed to dive there so that they do not damage the corals. Once you are certified however, you can book the trip and this is what we did. The boat ride there is around 3 hours from Phuket, but it is very enjoyable, as there are big sun decks where you can soak up the sun. The diving was beautiful - we saw a shark, Nemo fish and many colourful corals. The dive center is very professional and quite big. They have a retail store in case you want to get your own mask or snorkel. Also a separate equipment room, 2 classrooms and showers. We can only recommend the school and will come back to go to the other dive sites next time we're in Phuket.

November 19, 2018I'd highly recommend Kiwidivers if you're scubadiving around Thailand. Charles was my instructor and was very informative and helpful on getting me through the advanced open water course. He gave me plenty if tips on improving my underwater photography skills too. The kit is all decent for the great conditions in that part of the world. The boats taking us to and from each location catered to our needs with amazing food and plenty of portions, the staff were really friendly and helpful with the kit. The diving itself is phenomenal as we saw up to 20 m visibility in some top locations to spot various sea life from clown fish to sting rays. The water being around 20 degrees Celsius made for comfortable swimming.

February 19, 2024We booked three days of diving with Kiwidivers in December, we felt very welcome in their office when trying on the equipment. We embarked the next day on a boat and met our guide, a really nice and professional french divemaster. We had a great day of diving! Unfortunately we ate at the night market in the evening and my girlfriend got sick, we cancelled our next two days of diving. Obviously we couldn't get our money back for the 2nd day as we cancelled last minute but kiwidivers arranged a refund for our third day. Extremely professional, nice and down-to-earth owner, I would definitely come back! Thanks again for the awesome experience!

May 19, 2024From the moment my Wife and I contacted Charles at Kiwi divers to arrange 5 days with 15 dives we knew we were in safe hands. Both of us are experienced divers and know what bad looks like. We certainly were happy we found a safe, responsible and knowledgeable outfit. Charles met us at our hotel in the evening and took us to hire kit and sign up. Kit was well serviced and clean. The next morning transport to the comfortable and spacious dive boat took us effortlessly there and back. Once on the boat the operator was clear with instructions and safety was paramount. Breakfast , snacks and lunch onboard was better than some restaurants. Each dive was different with reefs, wrecks and wall dives. Diving is always subject to nature and unpredictable at times however Charles managed to tick all the must see for wildlife inc Reef sharks, Eagle Ray, Bamboo Shark and even pulled out a Leopard Shark from somewhere. The dive pace was suited to us with limits set and appropriate for experienced divers. Space and time was given to us during the dive and never put a fin wrong with guiding. During the surface intervals Charles always spent time with us discussing dive plans and adapting where needed. Charles was keen to answer any questions we had about Thailand, diving and equipment. My wife was interested in starting underwater photography and Charles was professional in taking time to explain equipment and requirements. Pricing for the diving and boat experience was exceptional value for money compared with live aboard prices with the benefit of an island experience. Thank you Charles and Kiwi divers. We have already recommended you and will return.

November 19, 2023Myself and my partner dived for 9 days with Charles and Kiwidivers in the incredible Andaman sea. Charles was a fantastic instructor and guide; he is competent and friendly, we always felt safe and he knew each dive site really well, sometimes taking us to areas where no other divers seemed to be visiting. We saw amazing wildlife while we were diving, and Charles also gave us time at each site to collect footage we wanted for a project. Both of us are certified divers but still felt like we improved massively during the course of the trip. We also completed the drift diver specialty with Kiwidivers, which was completed and signed off quickly. The dive sites themselves are special, and Charles ensured you get a variety if you go to the same island multiple times. Kiwidivers were extremely helpful with other travel tips, transport to the boat, and support when our gear broke/not appropriate for what we wanted to do. Could not recommend Kiwidivers enough, we had an amazing trip and will be coming back.
