My sister and I took the open water course at Kiwidiver. The staff are wonderful! They are extremely friendly and have extensive knowledge on diving. Our instructor, Darren, has a passion for diving that he was excited to share with us. He was patient and calm which was helpful with our learning and first dives. He clearly explained the learning objectives and expectations. He has a lot of background knowledge on diving that added to the open water course. The owner, Kevin, was in and out of the shop and checked in with us frequently. He was very hands on and always willing to answer questions and make recommendations. If I’m ever back in Phuket I will return to Kiwidiver for another course!

I dived with Kiwidivers to get a PADI open diver course. Even though it was a high season in new years holiday, the shop owner was very flexible to arrange training and diving schedule. He was really good at teaching beginner like me. That was a great dive experience thanks to them.

From the moment my Wife and I contacted Charles at Kiwi divers to arrange 5 days with 15 dives we knew we were in safe hands. Both of us are experienced divers and know what bad looks like. We certainly were happy we found a safe, responsible and knowledgeable outfit. Charles met us at our hotel in the evening and took us to hire kit and sign up. Kit was well serviced and clean. The next morning transport to the comfortable and spacious dive boat took us effortlessly there and back. Once on the boat the operator was clear with instructions and safety was paramount. Breakfast , snacks and lunch onboard was better than some restaurants. Each dive was different with reefs, wrecks and wall dives. Diving is always subject to nature and unpredictable at times however Charles managed to tick all the must see for wildlife inc Reef sharks, Eagle Ray, Bamboo Shark and even pulled out a Leopard Shark from somewhere. The dive pace was suited to us with limits set and appropriate for experienced divers. Space and time was given to us during the dive and never put a fin wrong with guiding. During the surface intervals Charles always spent time with us discussing dive plans and adapting where needed. Charles was keen to answer any questions we had about Thailand, diving and equipment. My wife was interested in starting underwater photography and Charles was professional in taking time to explain equipment and requirements. Pricing for the diving and boat experience was exceptional value for money compared with live aboard prices with the benefit of an island experience. Thank you Charles and Kiwi divers. We have already recommended you and will return.

I did some fun diving, training and booked a liveaboard through Kiwidivers on a recent trip to Phuket and had a great time with them. From prompt responses to emails during the initial enquiry and booking all the way through. I had Vincent as an Instructor/guide for the bulk of m dives out of Phuket. He is a fountain of knowledge on the diving around Phuket having been there so long but he still gets excited and passionate about all the dives and it’s possible to do a whole dive from a day trip boat with Vincent without seeing another diver. I certainly will be back.

I'd highly recommend Kiwidivers if you're scubadiving around Thailand. Charles was my instructor and was very informative and helpful on getting me through the advanced open water course. He gave me plenty if tips on improving my underwater photography skills too. The kit is all decent for the great conditions in that part of the world. The boats taking us to and from each location catered to our needs with amazing food and plenty of portions, the staff were really friendly and helpful with the kit. The diving itself is phenomenal as we saw up to 20 m visibility in some top locations to spot various sea life from clown fish to sting rays. The water being around 20 degrees Celsius made for comfortable swimming.

We booked three days of diving with Kiwidivers in December, we felt very welcome in their office when trying on the equipment. We embarked the next day on a boat and met our guide, a really nice and professional french divemaster. We had a great day of diving! Unfortunately we ate at the night market in the evening and my girlfriend got sick, we cancelled our next two days of diving. Obviously we couldn't get our money back for the 2nd day as we cancelled last minute but kiwidivers arranged a refund for our third day. Extremely professional, nice and down-to-earth owner, I would definitely come back! Thanks again for the awesome experience!
